UNDER OBSERVATION

We have friends visiting today and tomorrow and I took them for a walk along the creek this afternoon. On the way back this harbour seal kept a close and curious eye on us for about five minutes.

Our friends had planned to be in Madagascar right now, but things being as they are, they're making do with Hartlepool, so I'm glad the wildlife is trying hard to make up for any possible disappointment. Tomorrow they want a long visit to RSPB Saltholme, so hoping for reasonable weather. It's 7.15 pm now, and still 20 degrees C outside.
