new morning walk

I took Laney back to the vet for another bandage change this morning and got the good news that she will not need sutures, but is healing well on her own. Of course she still needs to stay homebound and off her foot.
So I went on a hike with a friend in our neighborhood open space and it was wonderful to be on a long morning walk again! I'm sure Laney is missing her walks, too.
