The Waterfront at Stromness

It was a fairly grey wet day today. We went to the Pier Arts Centre which had a fabulous exhibition on of the artists who were close to the Orcadian poet and writer George MacKay Brown. We particularly enjoyed the work by Sylvia Wishart, who, like Brown, had been born, and lived, in Stromness.
