Arthur and his trailer .

Today is an Arthur day and tonight he is sleeping over too as his mum has an interview tomorrow for a new job .
I took the shot to remind me of his creativity . He remains fascinated and delighted by tractors and trailers . Today he used Brambles yellow harness and my muddy boot to fashion a trailer attached to his fire engine ( tractor) He then drove it around the house delivering bales of hay to the stables . He had to keep stopping of course to fix his tractor, this is his favourite bit of the game .
Jess said that while they were on holiday he fixed a tin opener to his small wooden tractor with a hair bobble and that his favourite game was to pretend to plough the farmers fields. I get great delight from watching him be so innovative.
It’s been a full on day but now the dish washer and washing machine are on and I’m going to reach for a small glass of ginger wine .
