Goldcrest

Up with the lark this morning and had a pair of goldcrest hanging from a bird feeder. They were so pretty with their yellow mohican haircuts! You can see another view in my blipfolio.
This is not a particularly great shot but it is the best showing their little yellow crowns. I was delighted to see them.
Later we went to Stilton where we met my sister in law and husband who took Joan the rest of the way to Brighton.
On the way home we saw 3 lovely barn owls looking for food. It was a day for birds hence my blip.
