Final

My first game in a final in a bowls competition. We were playing in the doubles triples. The competition is quite simple two teams of two rinks of three players (12 players in total) and the aggregate score of all four matches decides the winner.

We thought we were playing Cambrian, which meant we had a chance as we are evenly matched sides, it turned out we were playing Maerdy, who are probably the best team in the league. We found out the morning session meant we were thirteen shots down, a mountain to climb.

Needless to say is was too much to turn around and we were beaten comfortably. Still, ours was a thoroughly enjoyable match and very high scoring.
