Sign city

A very Santa Cruz day today.

Started with signing up for some running training, leading up to a race I want to do. Have bought new running shoes, so obviously that will make me go faster, but just in case...

Then we went to check out the surf kayak competition at the main beach. Took lots of pictures of tiny people in surf kayaks. Nothing that moved me in photo form as much as watching them do it for real.

Finished the day by dyeing the ends of R's hair purple. It's one of the things she has agitated about...."everyone gets to do it...." and it does look cool, so.....sure!

This is the view down the length of the wharf. I liked the jumble of signs.
