Abbotsford House

We were down in the Borders for lunch with friends in the new Visitor Centre at the home of Sir Walter Scott. It has a nice restaurant with this view from the terrace of the house and the River Tweed.

Looking in large you may see the hi-vis jackets of workers on the roof and in the quadrangle, as repairs are under way. A hardy bunch, they continued in their task during the many snow flurries.
