First ......

stop in Valbonne.  Arrived at Heathrow T5 around 7 a.m and followed all the protocols.  Pleasant flight that landed in Nice around lunchtime.  Picked up the hire car and headed straight to Valbonne, about half an hour or so.  Eventually found our villa for the week (belongs to a very generous friend!) and after trying to get through the electric gates of the property opposite (!) we pressed the automatic gate opener and realised it was opening the house opposite ..... anyway.  Lovely secluded 6 bed villa with pool ... stunning.
