Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 4 - Day 82

River Avon, Hanham Mills

After mum’s COVID booster, and flu jabs for the both of us, popped down to the river for a waterside cuppa. Another overcast day, but mild again at 18 degrees.

Came home to find the newspaper hadn’t been delivered, again (have lost count of how many times we’ve had no delivery). Phoned the newsagent’s new manager who said he had delivered the paper in person, I told him we had received no paper, he called me a liar, I hung up. So this afternoon I found a new newsagent! Phoned to cancel contract with old newsagent, spoke to different bod who was apologetic and voided our outstanding bill; having said that, it was only for one paper as that’s the only one that was actually delivered this week! Apparently more than a dozen other people have also cancelled their paper contracts this week. Not surprising in the least...

On a happier note, today I ate tomatoes numbers 103-107!
