Waffles!

We got the bus to Puerto del Carmen. It was a planned trip but really we couldn't have planned it better as it was the first day that the weather was even a little iffy. We spent some time in the shops in the Biosfere. Carys almost bought a denim jacket but they didn't have her size, instead she bought a lovely striped snuggly jumper. She then needed a sit and I needed coffee. This resulted in a waffle with ice-cream and cream for her, not sure how it happened other than the waiter rattling off the various things they had on the menu and her face lighting up at the thought of a waffle!

We did have a little wander round the old town. I had intended to have lunch there but she wasn't hungry, unsurprisingly! So a bus back to Matagorda and coffee and a sandwich for me on the seafront, followed a little while later with a sandwich for her.

The weather cleared up whilst we were passing time in the cafe so we went back to the apartment and the pool. After all that walking/hopping we stayed in for the evening.
