Text this morning early from my daughter to say that Ben has tested positive in his Covid test.  He’s got no symptoms so here we see the benefit of testing twice a week to reduce passing it on..  There has been outbreaks in his class last week.  Later got another text to say that her, Dave and Cameron’s PCR test was negative which is great cos Cameron has his D of E hike over three days this weekend doing the Cateran Trail.  Phew!  Ben will be stir crazy by the end of quarantine if he stays well.

Took mum to the opticians this morning to get her macular degeneration (one wet and one dry) checked.as she’s been getting blurry bits.  Outcome was they haven’t changed so next stop is the doc for a check up.

Phone call from the vaccine centre asking if I’d come in for the late shift tomorrow as they are short staffed.  I’m doing a morning of flu clinic at my GP for the oldies coming in so will be a wreck tomorrow night!

Walk in the rain up Moncrieffe Hill.  So mild.

Got an update on Roxy dog from yesterday. Audrey the owner said Roxy was kept in the vet last night and will get x Ray today.  They talked about spinal stroke and some other stuff and a neurological expert being called in.  She said roast has arthritis over her body and gets acupuncture for this and she wouldn’t be able to get any operation.  It’s not looking good for the old dog:(
