Bats

This week in Literacy at school we have been looking at non-fiction facts and learning about 'Bats' we have a little boy in the class who has a number of issues one is he doesn't sleep some nights at all so is tired when he comes into school and very often falls asleep during lessons no matter how much we try to keep him awake. Today he had fallen asleep on the carpet and I was trying to wake him when another little boy said "Mrs F I think he must be nocturnal like a bat" I had to smile at least he remembered one of the facts we have been learning.
