I'm in a two day painting workshop at Debbie's house. She has provided space and instruction for five of us this weekend. It is my first venture painting for some months. It feels a bit risky being indoors with a group. I'm assured we are all double vaccinated, we wear our masks, it's well ventilated and we sit well spaced. It will take some time to be completely comfortable  with what was once 'normal'. 

Debbie is an very accomplished painter and an excellent instructor. Her studio is full of light and many paintings. There are even paintings in the bathroom! The lady of the house, Sophie, keeps us company. She is on the lookout for cookies, but often falls asleep on the job. 

Friday was a beautiful day for weather. We took our lunches outside to the front lawn. 

We've had a low of 2 C overnight. Today is to be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. We can expect a high of 12 C. I think lunch will be indoors today.
