Tynemouth

We got to go to Whitley Bay and Tynemouth today. The weather held and it was a very pleasant day!

Given we were at the beach we found a local amusements arcade with the classic 2p & 10p tipping games. Five English Pounds later we were no richer and our prize for all of this was a couple of Maoam bloxx to ease the losses. 
But, both towns were quaint to visit, if a wee bit Blackpool'y with quite a few of the terraced houses being turned into hotels, then falling into disrepair. 
We also came at the wrong part of the day. Too late in the afternoon for lunch, and too early for dinner. The smell and sight of other people's fish teas was all too much to bear. We will return!
