Starting to change colour

We had the cloud. We had thick drizzle. I still went for a walk round the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Wolseley Centre to try out my new Lumix. (The lens cap is securely attached but the shoulder strap is still tricky.)

No sign this morning of the kingfisher but a heron was lounging and intermittently fishing. Fungus. Pheasant. Robins and mallards.  Snowy the white duck was happily bossing the others around and there were Highland cows in the meadow, just near the bird hide. (Extra). I walked through. They seemed friendly but maybe I was just lucky.

The tree colours are changing and developing. The light was quite poor, but it was still so beautiful.
