Another quiet day

I woke up this morning with the sensation that the Covid mists had cleared a little. It was as if the outside world had begun to come back into focus, after a couple of days in which my realistic horizon has been the bedroom window, and the waves of dizziness have been ebbing and flowing.

This is, we calculate, day 7. Richard is really feeling a lot better and I am certainly steadier.

Once again, we've had a quiet time. Normally, on a mild autumn day like this, I would have been out working in the garden. Instead, I've alternated a little light sorting-out of winter clothes with some proper resting.  And a short wander outside to take a look at these vivid blueberry leaves This feels good.

Today we also got a message from two friends who have been unwell most of the week, and who have now tested positive. One of them is in a choir that Richard went to listen to a week ago, in Sheffield's Winter Gardens. There's no point tormenting yourself with trying to figure out what happened when, it would be impossible to prove. However... that event is on the list of possible starting-points for our Covid bout.
