Back Blip, a day late!

We've just had a night away near Kendal. Apart from a lovely drive over the Yorkshire Dales to get there we had a look around the grounds of Sizergh Castle, a medieval house under the custodianship of the National Trust.

My main image is of the long border and one of the many gardeners at work. My extra is of a grand stone staircase overlooking the formal lawn and lake. The wild daisies have carpeted the full flight and must have looked wonderful a few weeks ago.
