Basil and Lola

Lola lives in a house opposite us. She's always been interested in Basil. She was outside with her owner while he was cleaning windows. No sooner had we rolled up and parked, she was down the road and greeting Basil.

He likes her, but he's not enthusiastic.

We'd been to Loughborough to view the bric a brac market where I bought a posy vase in Caithness glass. And then, we'd gone for a walk around Nanpantan Reservoir. Very pleasant in the sunshine. Lots of ducks and possibly one grebe. The fishermen hadn't seen any humbugs this year. The eggs had probably been taken by predators.
