Clachtoll

Drizzle for much of the day and no photos taken. Late afternoon stroll on the beach down the road, lovely to hear the curlews and even managed to spot one through the binoculars: they are so well camouflaged in this landscape you can only see them when they move around or fly. Cooked a pretty good curry for supper with rice and naan, an achievement with limited utensils...
Photo is of the beach, rock strata and the split rock in the middle distance which is a feature of Clachtoll beach - we walked there yesterday so I guess this blip is a cheat...
We walked to a nearby stone fort carefully constructed of local stone but I didn’t get to read its history...
