A low low tide.

A low low tide this morning. Quite a retreat. Some of the old World War 2 defence were visible. The poles were to stop enemy planes landing on the beach when a large expanse like today. The defences further up were visible too but the light was poor for photos - just before the rain.

Afternoon in; jigsaw time and researching. We had planned to go to local rugby game but it was off. We managed a walk between the fields before dark.

Family are well. Older son and wife are camping; younger son was away with his rugby team who won.
