Las Vegas, looking north

I arrived late on Friday night in Vegas to start to the next chapter. It was a long day with many firsts - first long distance flight,  first time in foreign english speaking country. I arrived late in the dark not quite sure where I was. 

Waking up in the morning I drew back the curtains to see this stunning view of the city bathed in the dawn light. Quite a surprise, as from all I'd heard about Vegas I wasn't expecting any "natural" beauty. The contrast of the casinos against the mountainous backdrop was quite pleasing though.
