On Golden pond

Yesterday morning came with warnings of heavy mist. I raised myself earlyish with the hope that l might find some birds on a misty lake. In the event it was not that misty but l did catch some rays on the pond and some obliging swans.
Later in the morning l took my elderly neighbour to IKEA, luckily we were in and out quickly; it was furthest she has been from home (20 minutes) in nearly two years.
Today is meant to be the last of the warm days, cooler weather is on its way.
