Express yourself

A day in Kobe today for the sister to do a bit of souvenir shopping and what a day we had! Most of the shops are in covered shopping streets so the woofer came too, sadly he wasn't much help when it came to carrying all of the bags ;)

We came across this painter, who was producing oil paintings, from memory, of a range of local places. He was a lovely man, gave me discount on the painting I chose as a gift for a family friend, signed and dated it and threw in a lovely wooden stand. It was fascinating to watch him work.
