Last of the summer nectar
Today, we have enjoyed beautifully warm, sunny, conditions. We've spent most of the day in the garden: tidying up, picking apples, planting bulbs, etc. Our southern boundary is a fence covered in held up by ivy. This morning, it was lovely to see it alive with bees, wasps, flies, Comma and Red Admiral butterflies, and other insects, all busily feeding on the ivy flowers.
