BCAM2021 Day 9
We have all been craving Chinese food so we decided to go to Maroochydore for yum cha.
We feasted on some delicious dim sum and stir fries and as much as it wasn’t exactly what we are used to, it really wasn’t too bad.
Chinese craving sorted, we had a little wander through the Sunshine Plaza and spotted this tattoo place supporting breast cancer awareness. I was so pleased to see this that I actually bought a T-shirt with all proceeds going directly to the breast cancer fund in Australia!!! They even gave me a pink cookie :).
We then headed to the Homemaker Centre to look for a new couch. Our existing one needs replacing and we thought today would be a good day to check some out.
We spent about 3 hours in there looking at many sofa places and narrowing our choice down to 2. There is a 16-20 week wait to receive them, so we had better decide soon!
Martin and I really want to see the sea so we drove to Point Arkwright and had a little wander on the beach and rock pools.
Then ended the day with a quick drink at Coolum Surf Club, immersing ourselves in a typical Aussie Sunday arvo of watching (no betting for us) the races!
