Conker Time

A day too late to find any big ones, if there ever were any, the ground would have been well searched on Saturday. All the empty cases seemed rather small, the poor health and age  of this group of trees may be responsible. I thought this (Rook?) feather  helped make a nice Autumn picture
This morning I watched a pair of Rooks giving one of the local Buzzards a hard time.
