I spent much of the afternoon pottering in my potting shed, where I 

*repotted two cacti I'd bought yesterday (as they were too big for the pots they were in)
*potted baby spider plants
* made forsythe pots  for heather and other cuttings

the later is a new departure for me and it may be that I am too late in taking the cuttings but no harm done if the don't take. 

Tomorrow is the date of my jury citation and I duly called the update line after 5 pm as instructed and have been asked to make myself available for a call tomorrow morning. I hope that someone does call so I can explain my situation and find out where I stand and can then make or change plans for the rest of the week.
