Calm after the storm

Chaos this morning. Carys's day 2 PCR came back as positive. It was so unexpected that I honestly thought she was joking, however she wasn't. So we headed out to Luton for PCR's and isolated her in her room and the study.

In the mean time I was track and traced as a contact back on the 6th, the day we flew. So someone on the plane must have tested positive. Sigh. However I had already done the suggested PCR. Now we have to wait!

When back from testing Carys had a zoom drop in with her RS and History tutor. She wanted to know how to improve her score on her Christianity paper as it was lower than the mock she did on Buddhism. Alongside that they discussed her options for History in the summer. Now instead of two two hour exams they have three one hour exams and have to do the Asia module (Conflict) but then choose two of the other three nodules so she needs to choose between America, Normans and Migration. I think Migration will miss out as it covers from 790AD to the present! Huge! But she has to decide before we enter the exams around Xmas.

Will has two more days iso after today. He has been quiet all day watching Marvel films. He got quite chatty on WhatsApp while we were all watching Strictly on different devices in different rooms!
