Spider Silk

I got up before J, and before breakfast and whilst she was getting ready went for a short stroll through the meadow. It was one of those dewy autumn mornings with a clear sky and wonderful early morning light. Everything seemed to be covered in spider silk and dew drops, including these haws. Quite magical. I took lots of photos of sparkling webs, an example in the extras.

Late morning we went for a short circular walk around Gait Barrows. A southern hawker dragonfly landed conveniently by the side of the footpath, so it can be found in extras too.
