Spring Melt

The dusting of snow this morning shows that winter still has a grip on us, but the signs of spring are there. The days are lengthening, we're glimpsing the sun more often, the birds are starting to sing, the daffodils and crocuses are up and the gorse bushes are showing the first signs of their yellow blooms.
