Escalator

Jesse W. Reno invented the escalator in 1891. It was used at the Old Iron Pier at Coney Island, New York.

Some of you will have worked out that I spent some of our first day of reduced restrictions at a department store, hence the photo of an escalator at David Jones. I bought some home wares and mascara, so had no end of fun. We're just about to go to the pub for dinner and the one with SeriousFrolic and K.
