Delightful dozen

Twelve ladies completed a 20km challenge run for the charity where I work. It was the perfect day for it and although I was not looking forward to the distance, I loved it. One of the team finished chemo a week ago for breast cancer. Incredible lady.

The inlaws came round in the afternoon. I didn't feel like entertaining but they are fairly easy company; I was glad I'd had the foresight to bake a lasagna the night before.

My dad popped over too. Mum was poorly with a cough. Unfortunately a late night LFT tested positive for Covid. Dad's was negative. She's feeling rough but not dangerously so; hoping she recovers quickly.

I slept so well. Maybe that's the answer to my sleeplessness - a 20km run every day. Or maybe not...
