The Friday night crew reconvened for lunch at Tynecastle today. The Skyline Restaurant no less and our first visit. It would have had a skyline view if the new Tynecastle school hadn’t been built on the other side of the street but if I stood on tippy toe I could just see the top of the castle! No big deal, I’ve seen it before. As for lunch, two courses were good but I think our mains had been left forgotten under the heating lamps for a while so that spoilt things a bit. Pretty good overall though, I’d maybe go back. And of course the company was great.
