Edible decs

Watching Mary Berry making a cake has prompted me to make these crystallized primroses to decorate the Easter cake. Many years ago I made the Christening cake and covered it in crystallized violets and primroses from our garden- they worked brilliantly and looked beautiful .
I just painted edible primroses with frothy egg white and drenched them in caster sugar, then left them to dry with their stems poked through paper over a bowl.
Just have to add lots of chocolate eggs now- I love Easter and hope the weather warms up a bit for everyone by the weekend.
