Holehaven Creek

It's been an eerie kind of day today! Sun has been shining, there's been very little breeze and it's just very still and quiet! not even the normal chattering of birds in the garden! Weird! Squirrels have gone missing too and they are normally in the garden no matter what haha!

We did a spot of food shopping this morning and then stopped off at Canvey Wick nature reserve for a little wander - it was quiet there too! I think I saw 1 goldfinch, 2 carrion crows and a magpie! Everything else was quiet and still! This is the view over holehaven creek where you normally see a lot of waders... not today! Where has all the wildlife gone?!
