Almost home

Leaving Cambridge at a decent time, we wended our way north toward old friends now living at Ampleforth in Yorkshire. 
Stamford provided an attractive stop en route - as well as a Melton Mowbray pie - and Helmsley here provided an opportunity to stretch the legs before an excellent evening catching up on much gossip.
