Albert Square's Golden Post Box...

Although originally planned to be a temporary tribute to our local olympian heroes, this iconic post box in Manchester's Albert Sq. will remain gold-painted. It will be a permanent legacy to team GB's outstanding performances during the London 2012 games. There are around another 100 gold boxes throughout the UK.
