Snow, wind, sun, what next?

O and me took to our bikes on a charitable mission to feed the ducks on the canal. There are lots of Canada geese (they're actually American, but somehow they have ended up with a more northerly moniker) that try to crowd out the mallards, but tactical throwing can ensure that they don't get all the bread. The gulls are a different matter altogether however, and they bully and dive in an effort to get fed.

I was trying to get a shot of the gulls in mid-air battle but realised I had inadvertently managed to get this shot (a better one, I think) of a duck asserting its presence!
