Observing trivia

Barbara Pym must be one of the most underrated writers of the mid 20th century. I find her detailed   observation of everyday human behaviour on a par with Jane Austen and Victoria Wood, and just as funny.
So I was delighted to come away from a lively  and very non Barbara Pym supper party with a copy of her biography, published earlier this this, and which P had found in a charity shop. No one else had heard of her, which is not unexpected.
