A miscellany of lovely things

Dr D spent a couple of hours on his pipe organ (which you can spot in the back of his "toy shed") as he does most afternoons, until I delivered the pipe cutter to him , that had arrived in the mail. Another project, altering old mounts for new lights up the drive. After half an hour or so spreading grass clippings around to add to the sweet mulch on the garden I wandered back to take the images of these beautiful bearded irises shimmering in today's wild wind. 
My day started by whipping up this delicious Timaru Lemon Ice cream using lemons from one of our trees. It is truly scrumptious ...do try it : ))
