Spider or crab?

Both, actually. It's a White Crab Spider, photographed in my garden on a nasturtium flower. It's tiny, about 3 mm across the head. This Wikipedia entry notes that their preferred habitat is on white and yellow daisy flowers. 

I've included a second shot of the same spider in the extra. This time on the leaf of a Snake Vine, Hibbertia scandens. This shows all eight legs.
