Beachside

Fitttie seen from the beach side. The old Marine Ops Centre can be seen in the distance. I presume the white ground floor extensions were not part of the original construction, but have been added on later.

This section of Fittie is itself a later extension to the original development. The houses in this part of the development were built to accommodate the ships pilots working for the harbour board.

A spectacular sunrise gave the clue to rain later. It arrived in the afternoon and I think lasted through the night.

I thought I was going to post this as a mono picture, but I decided I preferred it in colour.
