So much love!

After (or amidst?) too many months of silence here, it is of course past time for an update. As they have been for so many people worldwide, the past 1.5 years in the pandemic have not been the easiest for us either. Luckily, we all stayed healthy, but juggling work and a toddler household did not leave much room for anything else, including our hobbies. At times, it felt time stood still, yet all was perpetually in motion. The last couple of months we packed our things yet again and moved town, after long-distance renovating the house. All this while growing a new tiny human. 

The past few weeks the rollercoaster finally started to slow down when my leave started, after a crazy ride with many loopings. It started to climb uphill and reached the top today, the climax of love, when our second child Sytse was born. Marten and I, and big sis Ellis are over the moon and very much in love. We're all doing fine. Seeing brother and sister together is truly the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. For now we're lingering here on the top, savouring this love and these blessings, before we surely enter the next stage of the rollercoaster again. I hope to be able to take you on (some of the) ride this time.
