Ready for the oven

Vegetable soup followed by blackberry and apple crumble, cake and cups of tea.   Blackberries picked by me a few week ago.
We put the world to rights, disagreed on a few subjects, and agreed on many more.
Now have to clear up the debris.  Leftover cake and wine were taken home by one of the ladies.
Distinct lack of milk at the supermarket this morning.  Is this a sign of things to come?
