Diddled

We bought what looked like lovely bag of oranges when we were leaving Tzaneen being told they were new season.

Something should have triggered that being a problem given that our citrus becomes available at the beginning/middle of winter. They were just popped into the fruit bowl for general consumption. Given that none had moved for a week, I decided to juice them.

Well, despite the skins being devoid of any signs of age, this was the inside, hardly a drop of juice between them.

The birds are not even interested in the few I put out for them.

Taken for a ride? Well that would be me.
