Exposed Turtle Eggs

It was good to get back to Playa La Ropa this morning. I think Hurricane Pamela though miles and miles north of us is making for some big waves on the beach. They were causing havoc on the buried turtle nests along shore as is evident here. There were a couple of groups out rescuing nest, but the obviously missed this one. Good thing I interrupted my run on the way down the beach because this nest was totally washed away by the time I came back on the return trip.
