Another use for waste vegetables

After learning that a superstition from the past encouraged people to throw apple peelings over their shoulder to see what letters the peelings might make to indicate the name of a future partner, I began to wonder what I could do to entertain my granddaughter. I showed her a few shapes with vegetable peelings from our salad preparation and she quickly joined in the fun.
