Rainshowers on Crete

Today all went well and Sweetheart's having his birthday (what's not much celebrated here in Greece; they celebrate the namedays).

We'd decided to have dinner (what's eaten here about 14.30 hrs) at the Adler's Nest in Samonas, what uphill behind Chania and I loved to drive us the 40 kms or so around up to the plain on mountainous roads.
The rain from Greece's mainland arrived today on Crete and we had several showers. When we got home we learned from the news, that the SE of Crete, near Zagros and Ierapetra, was hit by an earthquake; we didn't notice this at all and were bit surprised, altho' the earth shakes lots this year. We didn't hear about victims luckily!
