My first trip south to see my mum in over two years. It was a surprise to pretty much have a whole carriage to myself on both legs of the train journey. I walked between King's Cross and Waterloo to avoid the tube and was again surprised to find the city as quiet as it was. I was expecting things to be getting more back to normal by now.
